Refresh Training on Financial Management to the technical Departments of MAF, MOIC and 05 target Provinces of LACP was held from 15-19 August 2022 in Chanpasack Grand Hotel, Chanpasack Province. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Phouthone Siriphanthong, Director of Lao Agriculture competitiveness Project, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. The main purpose of this training is to review the financial management for accounting staffs in 5 provinces and reported the audited financial statement report of 2021 and the advantages – weaknesses were found in last year’s accounting audit. Distributed Important legislation, regulations and comments from the World Bank to the participants as well as submitting document to claim 10 precent from the matching grant
At the last section of the meeting, there were exchanges of ideas and presented difficult issues on the implementing financial and procurement work, it also discussed and agreed on the direction for further revisions.
