On 21 May 2021, LACP supported 15 tractors to 15 Rice Production Group (RPGs): Hatxayfong district ( Nalong village, Thintaen village, Simmano village), Xaythany district ( Vernkham village, Nongkheng village, Nongno village, Nakoung village, Nathea village, Borlek village, Donkhuay village) and Pakngum district ( Nonxay village, Makheiw village, Donvangpho village, Bandone village, Maknaotai village). The handover ceremony was in Department of Agriculture and forestry of Vientiane Capital and the ceremony was presided over by Mr. Bounkuang Khambounheuang, Vice Minister of Agriculture and Forestry and attended by Deputy Mayor of Vientiane Capital, Deputy District Governor, National Project Coordinator central and provincial level and participated by technical staff from provincial and district agriculture and forestry departments and farmer groups in each village. The propose of handover ceremony is to support the matching grant value 16.000 US per group as agriculture product machines and to promote Good Agricultural Practices for rice to produce commercial rice production.
